To reach Errard lying close to the village of Dennery, the drive includes crossing the interior of the island and bordering the rain forest. The tour includes an introduction to the various fruit crops, a "cocoa dance", where cocoa beans are polished and a Creole lunch presenting local fruit juices.
This 400-acre estate is located in a magnificent botanical garden bordering the village of Anse la Raye. The tour consists of an on-site museum and a cultural theatre with a 40-foot tall water wheel portraying the sugar growing tradition of the 18 th century. Tours to this plantation must be scheduled in advance which can be arranged through any hotel.
Located just outside Castries this estate is St. Lucia's largest estate. The plantation is currently working producing the island's export crops like banana and copra and it also offers insight into the principle crops of the previous years like coffee and cocoa. The tour offers a drive along the panoramic north eastern coast of the island to the countryside. The tour also includes a visit to an old sugar mill, a boat ride on the Marquis river and lunch at the plantation house.
Facing the beautiful town of Soufriere, a tour on this estate includes a demonstration of processing of cocoa, copra and manioc. In addition, the tour comprises of a walk on an original street wich was formerly used by mule carriages. A visit to the workers' village is also a part of this exciting tour.

Introductory figures released by the St. Lucia Tourist Board show that the number of tourist stopover, arrivals i.e. persons staying 24 hours or more, increased by 10% in May 2008 which counted up to 27,782 visitors compared to 25,212 visitors who arrived in May 2007.
